Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka Down Payment & Closing Costs Assistance Intake Session

The Federal Home Loan Bank Down Payment & Closing Cost Assistance Funds are limited and are available on first-come, first-serve basis. The Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance Intake sessions are only available to borrowers REFERRED by one of our participating lenders (NO EXCEPTIONS). Funds are reserved after all borrowers (including applicant and co-applicant) have attended an NHSKC Eligibility Determination Session and have been approval by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka.
Receipt of a participating lender’s loan approval and an executed sales contract along with other required documents (attached below) must be provided to NHS on any of the available weekly scheduled Down Payment & Closing Cost Assistance Intake sessions. No one will be permitted services and/or counseling without the aforementioned documents. Homebuyer Education is required prior to the borrower’s intake session. To register for one of our classroom Homebuyer education classes review our community calendar for the next available date, complete the attached Homebuyer education registration form for all borrowers (including applicant and co-applicant) and submit to us via fax at 816.822.7212; or via email at lstewart@nhsofkcmo.org, or feel free to take our online Homebuyer education course at ehomeamerica.org/nhskc.
The weekly scheduled Down Payment & Closing Cost Assistance Intake sessions are limited to participating lender REFERRED borrowers only. Non participating lenders, real estate agents and/or other housing professionals are not permitted in these sessions.
